Hi! I'm a full-stack developer who likes to craft products with great user experiences.
I design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and integrate third-party services using primarily Node.js ecosystem.
I transform designs into responsive and accessible web applications using Tailwind, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js.
I have experience deploying applications with Docker, working with AWS services, and managing infrastructure using Terraform.
I'm Jan — a developer based in Ostrava who likes turning ideas into working products. I have a CS background and 6+ years of professional experience across the stack.
Most of my work in the last few years has been on a document management and e-signing platform — I started on the Node.js backend, watched it migrate to Kotlin with Micronaut, and along the way picked up Docker, AWS, and Terraform.
Outside of code, I keep sharp through sports — badminton is my main thing, with football and tennis on the side. Movement is non-negotiable.
There is list of my favorite technologies I enjoy work with.
Selected work from the last few years.
